A Place to Learn, Connect, and Have Fun

After-School & Enrichment Programs

Therapy sessions, evaluations, and behavior plans are important. But your child is not a list of things to fix. They are a whole person with interests, curiosity, and strengths that deserve space to grow — somewhere that feels fun, welcoming, and genuinely theirs.

Our enrichment programs give children with autism and developmental differences exactly that. A place where they are not being assessed or corrected, but encouraged, included, and celebrated for who they already are.

What Are Enrichment Programs?

Enrichment programs are structured, supportive group settings designed for children with autism and developmental differences. Every program runs with small groups, trained staff, and activities built around real interests — art, movement, games, creative projects, and more.

These are not therapy sessions. They are spaces where the skills children are building in programs like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) can show up naturally — through play, peer connection, and everyday moments.

Our Programs

After-School Program

Our after-school program runs on weekday afternoons and gives children a structured but enjoyable environment to decompress, connect with peers, and participate in supervised activities after the school day ends.

Designed for families who need reliable, behavior-informed after-school care — not a general childcare setting.

Saturday Program

A full morning or afternoon of interest-led activities with peers in a supportive environment. Saturday programming is ideal for children who benefit from consistent routine on weekends and for families who want their child building social connections outside of the school week.

Summer Program

School breaks can be some of the hardest times for families. Routines disappear, services get interrupted, and regression becomes a real concern. Our summer program keeps children engaged, connected, and growing through the break — with themed activities, community outings, and peer interaction built into every week.

School Break Programs

Our school break programming covers winter and holiday periods when school is out and families need consistent, high-quality support. Short-term but purposeful — maintaining momentum and giving children something meaningful to look forward to during a time of year that is often disorienting for children who rely on structure.

Who Benefits?

Our enrichment programs are a good fit for children who:

  • Have autism or developmental differences and are looking for a peer environment that actually understands their needs
  • Are currently in therapy and need a setting where skills translate into real life
  • Have completed a formal Autism & Developmental Assessment and are ready to build community connections
  • Struggle to access typical after-school programs because those environments are not set up to support them
  • Are working on social goals and need additional peer practice time in a low-pressure setting
  • Need support maintaining routine and skill retention during school breaks

How It Works

Intake and Placement

Before your child joins a program, we gather information about their interests, current skill level, and any behavioral or sensory considerations staff need to be aware of. This is not a barrier to entry — it is how we make sure every child has a positive experience from day one.

Trained, Behavior-Informed Staff

Every staff member is trained in behavioral support strategies. They know how to redirect, de-escalate, reinforce, and include — so children with a wide range of needs can participate meaningfully alongside their peers.

Family Updates

Parents receive regular updates on how their child is engaging, what is going well, and any areas where additional support is being put in place.

Connection to the Full Care Team

Enrichment staff communicate regularly with therapy teams. What we observe — how a child handles transitions, initiates with peers, or responds to sensory demands — feeds directly into treatment planning and stays aligned with ABA Education Services and Teacher Training staff and home strategies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need to be in ABA therapy to join?

No. Enrichment programs are open to children whether or not they are currently receiving therapy. They work well as a standalone service or alongside existing support.

What if my child has significant behavioral challenges?

Our staff are trained specifically to support children with behavioral and sensory challenges. We complete an intake before enrollment to make sure the right supports are in place from the start.

How many children are in each group?

Groups are kept intentionally small to ensure every child receives adequate support and genuine peer interaction. Group size is discussed during intake.

Are programs available year-round?

After-school and Saturday programs run throughout the school year. Summer and school break programs are offered during school breaks. Many families enroll in multiple formats to keep consistency across the year.

How are these programs funded?

Funding options vary depending on your child’s plan and needs. Contact our team and we will help you understand what may be available for your family.
