Kim Vu, MSN, PMHNP-BC is the Founder and CEO of Simple Solutions Outpatient, LLC. Born in Vietnam, Kim immigrated to Richmond, Virginia, with her family at the age of six. She graduated from Douglas S. Freeman High School before continuing her education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
After beginning her nursing career, Kim worked extensively with individuals facing mental health and psychiatric challenges. Through these experiences, she developed a deep passion for mental health care and pursued advanced training, earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She subsequently became a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Kim has dedicated much of her career to serving underserved communities and has extensive experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and schizophrenia. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to achieve improved mental wellness and quality of life.
Outside of her professional role, Kim enjoys gardening, shopping, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband reside in Richmond, Virginia, where they are proud parents of four sons—including a set of twins who keep life both busy and rewarding.”
