In addition to her clinical work, Nique is the author of Hey, Be Calm, a journaling workbook designed to help teens and young adults develop emotional awareness and coping skills. She is also a sought-after speaker and trainer, known for her ability to translate complex trauma science into real-world tools for families, schools, and child-serving organizations.
Beyond her professional work, Nique is a devoted mother to her two daughters, Autumn and Arya, who remain her greatest teachers and inspiration. She is actively involved in community-based mental health initiatives and continues to advocate for accessible, culturally responsive care for underserved families.
